General Description: Assists the TMFC pharmacist in the areas of prescription filling, prescription distribution and clerical activities while under the pharmacist’s supervision always. Assist in the coordination of the 340B Drug Program. This position should increase customer confidence and loyalty to the pharmacy by providing consistent operating conditions, courteous and prompt service, and a friendly atmosphere. This role will accurately and courteously express pharmacy policies and procedures to the customers when appropriate

Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Liberty Software a plus
Experience:
- One year of work experience, preferably in a community pharmacy and familiar with 340B drug requirements
Certification or Licensure:
- Licensed Pharmacy/Certified Pharmacy Technician
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: (This list is not all inclusive.)
· Documents/maintains accurate data in the medical record according to NGHCC policy and procedure.
· Assist in the preparation of prescriptions including entering patient information (demographics, drug allergies and pharmaceutical history) and prescription orders into the computer for processing.
· Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions by pulling stock, pouring, counting, restocking, packaging, and labeling of prescriptions.
· Provides first class customer service by greeting customers as they enter the pharmacy or drive-thru.
· Keeping the pharmacy clean and inviting and answering the phone in a courteous manner.
· Assist the pharmacist in the preparation, reconciliation, and billing of third-party insurance claims and in the re-billing of rejected third party claims (Standard and 340B).
· Assist in checking and removing out-of-date products.
· Responsible for inventory, ordering, receiving, rotating, and maintaining store products to assure quality controls (standard and 340B).
· Reconcile daily merchandise orders.
· Maintain confidentiality in compliance of federal HIPPA regulations.
· Organize and file records.
· Maintain all product labels, signs and prices aligned with product.
· Keep work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards, report hazards to store management.
· Perform price checks for customers and associates, as needed.
· Operate the cashier terminal, credit card machine and electronic signature capture device when checking out customers; collect proper payment for merchandise.
· Responsible for daily (AM) count down, balancing and reconciliation of the cash terminal and reports as assigned.
· Maintain administrative grant requirements.
· Retrieves Messages from voicemail and addresses accordingly.
· QI/QA policy compliance
· Attend meetings as required.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

FQHCs are community-based health care providers that receive funds from the HRSA Health Center Program to provide primary care services in underserved areas. They must meet a stringent set of requirements, including providing care on a sliding fee scale based on ability to pay and operating under a governing board that includes patients.
The defining legislation for Federally Qualified Health Centers (under the Consolidated Health Center Program) is Section 1905(l)(2)(B) of the Social Security Act. TMFC has also been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home Program. NCQA’s PCMH Recognition program is the most widely adopted PCMH evaluation program in the country.
Tri-Med Family Care is a sub-recipient of a Georgia Family Planning System (GFPS) grant and is deemed a family planning service site. GFPS ensures access to high-quality pregnancy planning and prevention services integrated with other preventive health care for women, men and adolescents with priority given to low-income and uninsured individuals who may otherwise lack access regardless of income and health insurance status.
TMFC is credentialed as a Community Provider in the VA Community Care Network (CCN). The CCN is the VA’s direct link with community providers to ensure Veterans receive timely, high-quality care.

We employ a staff of Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners to deliver comprehensive medical care services that help you maintain good health. These services generally include:

Pharmacy Services
Tri-Med Family Care's full-service walk-in/drive-thru pharmacy is conveniently located at the rear of our parking lot. Our on-site pharmacy participates in the 340B Drug Discount Program, a federal government program requiring drug manufacturers to provide outpatient drugs at significantly reduced prices. These prescription drug price savings are directly passed onto you as an TMFC patient, regardless of insurance status.
Our pharmacy is open to the general-public and offers over the counter products, free self-blood pressure monitoring, hassle-free prescription transfer, and medication counseling and therapy management. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances, and offer sliding fee scale pricing to patients who qualify.
