General Job Description
The Information and Technology Coordinator directs and monitors the requirements, framework conditions, and progress of the IT network. They are direct technical and personnel resources to ensure that the results conform to quality, time, and budgetary stipulations. The IT Coordinator works solve any conflicts that arise and minimize potential risks
Qualifications:
· Training in computer support, software applications, hardware, databases, application servers, networking and EMR systems preferred.
· 3+ years related experience and/or training
· Extensive application support experience.
· Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
· Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
· Exceptional people skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
· Strong documentation skills
Education & Work Experience:
· Associate degree preferred
· Experience >3 years can be substituted for degree
· 3+ years related experience and/or training
Skills/Knowledge Required:
· Knowledge in diagnosing IT issues, testing, and configuring operating systems.
· Possess exceptional customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Knowledge of federally funded Program Requirements.
· Must have analytical and critical thinking skills with sufficient oral and written communication skills to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and the Authority.
· Ability to make independent decisions and maintain a high level of responsibility and dependability.
· Ability to self-supervise.
· Must have knowledge of the functions of the health center.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Provide systems, desktop and applications support for multiple offices.
· EMR Super User and Safety Officer for EMR updates, responsible for maintaining the operation of the EMR System which includes championing the use of new/underused EMR features or services that will increase efficiency and improve patient care.
· Develop reports from the EMR system as needed by Directors, CFO, CMO or CEO
· Assist in training new employees in using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system including documenting processes and workflows.
· Escalates requests to the appropriate internal resources or third-party support vendor.
· Install and configure operating systems, software, network devices, printers, scanners, etc. as required.
· Maintain existing computers and equipment by performing upgrades, new installations, troubleshooting, and carrying out routine quality checks.
· Provide technical support and training to new and existing users. Including activation, deactivation, security permissions and access control.
· Participates in formulation of policies and procedures to achieve facility objectives.
· Evaluates the IT system's physical configuration and environment, software, information handling processes, and user practices prior to security audits.
· Ensures the company IT resources are utilized appropriately.
· Coordinates Computer system operations with contracted I/S Vendors.
· Works to troubleshoot computer and software issues for all EGHC sites.
· Performs computer maintenance and entry level IT duties.
· Assists with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, information technology equipment, voice systems and software/applications.
· Installs and configures computer hardware operating systems and applications.
· Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks.
· Talks staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
· Troubleshoots system and network problems.
· Works with the SQR Director to implement systems and processes to limit non-work-related functions using electronic devices and improve operational security.
· Works with external vendors and partners to support the Information Technology needs of TMFC
· Assists in the diagnosing and problem solving of hardware or software faults.
· Replaces and upgrades parts, applications or systems as required.
· Provides support, including maintaining procedural documentation and producing relevant reports.
· Follow diagrams and written instructions to perform assigned tasks or roles.
· Supports the implementation of new applications and equipment.
· Sets up new users' accounts and profiles.
· Prioritizes and actively manages open tickets or assigned tasks.
· Establishes a good working relationship with coworkers and other professionals.
· Tests and evaluates new technology.
· Perform security audits
· Work with CMO and Clinical Director and personnel to improve IT related functions of patient care
· On-call availability for IT issues
· Maintain an inventory of all electronic devices
· Work with Ringgold Telephone Company to configure phone systems and menu trees

Physical Demands

Typical Working Conditions:
· Infrequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

FQHCs are community-based health care providers that receive funds from the HRSA Health Center Program to provide primary care services in underserved areas. TMFC has also been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home Program. Tri-Med Family Care is a sub-recipient of a Georgia Family Planning System (GFPS) grant and is deemed a family planning service site. GFPS ensures access to high-quality pregnancy planning and prevention services integrated with other preventive health care for women, men and adolescents with priority given to low-income and uninsured individuals who may otherwise lack access regardless of income and health insurance status.
TMFC is credentialed as a Community Provider in the VA Community Care Network (CCN). The CCN is the VA’s direct link with community providers to ensure Veterans receive timely, high-quality care.

Pharmacy Services
Tri-Med Family Care's full-service walk-in/drive-thru pharmacy is conveniently located at the rear of our parking lot. Our on-site pharmacy participates in the 340B Drug Discount Program, a federal government program requiring drug manufacturers to provide outpatient drugs at significantly reduced prices. These prescription drug price savings are directly passed onto you as an TMFC patient, regardless of insurance status.
Our pharmacy is open to the general-public and offers over the counter products, free self-blood pressure monitoring, hassle-free prescription transfer, and medication counseling and therapy management. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances, and offer sliding fee scale pricing to patients who qualify.
